My name is Manoj Shakya. I am a final year Ph.D. student at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. I am under the supervison of A/Prof. Francis Lee Bu-Sung (NTU) and Dr. Ng Huey Yuen (SIMTech, A*STAR). My area of research is Deep Reinforcement Learning. The application side of my research focuses on the supply chain optimization techniques.

Before I enrolled into NTU, I was an Assistant Professor at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Kathmandu University. Currently, I am on study leave. I graduated with a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology from Hunan University, China and Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering from Kathmandu University, Nepal

Besides research and teaching, I like to watch movies, documentaries about nature/space/war and biographies of big personalities. I love traveling around the world too.
